It seems that last Tuesday, both the new payroll clerk and the information technology (IT) technician handed in their resignations to our new CAO. Both of these talented individuals have only been working for the town for a few months, starting on the same day if our sources are correct. Why does the Town of Midland keep bleeding talent? There are obvious serious human resource issues ongoing despite the hiring of our new CAO.
What is going on at Town hall, and how much is this costing us in tax dollars, resources and wasted time training staff only to lose them a few months later for reasons that are not immediately clear.
