Good Grief! More In Camera Sessions

Midland council continued its in-camera fascination with yet another in-camera meeting on Tuesday night at its special council meeting. Said to have been only four minutes long, the meeting still was in-camera. One has stopped counting “hide and go seek sessions” especially since some of the candidates ran partially on a transparency platform.

It never takes long in politics for newbies bright-eyed  nd bushy-tailed to fall into line. You won’t hear about transparency, or open government again by and for the people until next election’s flesh pressing/promise the world everything out on the hustings.  By then sadly  the in-camera meeting count should easily exceed 100. And what a record not to be proud of!
