Shared: Construction plan for Penetanguishene’s Main Street calls for nine months of closures
The reconstruction next year of Main Street in Penetanguishene will result in rolling closures along the street from March until late November.
Contractor J.B. Enterprise, along with the Town of Penetanguishene, unveiled the preliminary construction plan to the public at a meeting Tuesday night.
“We feel the best way we can get through the project efficiently is to operate with (a series of) two blocks of full hard closures, which will encompass a fully closed intersection and half an intersection on either side,” said John Bravakis, owner of J.B. Enterprise.
Beck Boulevard to Brock Street will be fully closed April, May, June. Brock Street to Simcoe/Water Street will be completely closed May, June and July. Simcoe/Water Street to Robert Street…
