For the third year in a row, S&P Global Ratings has affirmed the County of Simcoe’s AA long-term issuer credit rating for 2017.
The rating comes based on the county’s healthy liquidity, minimal debt burden and sound budgetary results.
“It’s important for our residents to know the county takes tremendous pride in responsibly managing their tax dollars,” Warden Gerry Marshall said in a release. “Our robust financial management policies and strong operating and budgetary performance allows us to continue to make significant strategic investments in our services and initiatives.”
