Crime Stoppers Simcoe Dufferin Muskoka paid out $28,355 in rewards in 2017.
The anonymous tip line led to police services in the multi-jurisdictional district recovering $252,485 in stolen property last year.
More than $5.5 million in illicit drugs were seized through tips in 2017.
Crimes Stoppers received 2,391 in tips in the district last year, some of which led to 281 arrests. The tip line led to 796 charges in 2017, while 254 cases were cleared.
Crime Stoppers Simcoe Dufferin Muskoka has received 59,742 tips since its inception and has paid out more than $372,000 in reward money.
Crime Stoppers is a civilian, non-profit organization that combines police, media and citizens to help fight crime.
