Shared: Documentary about cyclist’s journey to be screened in Midland

MIDLAND – A documentary spotlighting a Tiny Township man’s 1,000-kilometre bicycle ride to raise awareness of cancer will premiere this week at the Midland Cultural Centre.

The Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre and Hayfire Media are presenting “Nobody Does It Alone” on Oct. 6. A reception will begin at 7 p.m. Screening of the film is at 7:30 p.m.

The documentary focuses on Mike Dupuis and his nine-day journey around Georgian Bay gathering stories of local cancer support.
