Cold wind chills are expected to continue in Midland, Coldwater, Orr Lake, Orillia, Lagoon City and Washago today.

Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning Jan. 14 with expected wind chill values near minus 30 degrees Celsius.

Wind chill values will slowly improve beginning later this morning as temperatures edge upward under the mid-January sun.

If it’s too cold for you to stay outside, it’s too cold for your pet to stay outside.

The extreme cold warnings have ended for Innisfil, New Tecumseth, Angus and Mansfield.
