MIDLAND – Wendat Community Programs in Midland is receiving nearly $30,000 from the province to improve and repair its Second Street home.
Executive director Lorna Tomlinson expressed appreciation at being supported by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care’s infrastructure renewal fund.
“The funding will not only help sustain our services to the people of north Simcoe, but will provide an economic boost to local businesses,” she stated in a press release.
Wendat’s funding is part of $4.1 million being doled out to 59 health-service providers across the province in 2016–17 to keep them in a state of good repair.
