Shared: Guns, tools stolen from Victoria Harbour homes

The OPP are investigating a string of break-ins at homes in Tay Township — including one that netted thieves a couple of firearms.


Southern Georgian Bay OPP say the break-ins took place between March 26 and 27.


On March 26, thieves went into an unlocked home on John Dillingno Crescent in Victoria Harbour, stealing a 12-gauge Winchester shotgun, a Savage .22 rifle with a Tasco scope, and several boxes of shotgun shells. The thieves also took a Samsung tablet.


Later that day, another home on that street was victimized, as thieves stole a Dewalt table saw and Dewalt 12-inch compound mitre saw.


By early morning, thieves also forcibly entered a locked garage and several storage sheds behind a residence on Park Street…
