Rarely does two days help better illustrate the divide on a political issue.
But earlier this week, several key events in Simcoe County and Barrie reflected the raw emotions that still surround sexual misconduct allegations made against Simcoe North MPP Patrick Brown in January. On Feb. 11, the former leader of the Ontario PC Party issued a statement on his Facebook page, again denying the allegations.
“I will clear my name,” Brown said. “I am a fighter. For my family, for my constituents, and for the citizens of Ontario. I will now fight for my name and reputation.”
