Shared: Impaired driving charges laid after vehicle rollover in Tay Township

A 49-year-old Tay Township man is facing impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle rollover on Aug. 31 in Tay Township.

Southern Georgian Bay OPP were dispatched to the rollover, which occurred on Vasey Road near Gervais Road just before 5 p.m. Officers spoke with the driver and conducted a roadside investigation.

As a result, Dwayne Dayler was charged for driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. His vehicle was seized and his driver’s licence was suspended for seven days.

Dayler is scheduled to appear in court in Midland on Oct. 11.
