Shared: Man airlifted to hospital after motorcycle crash on Highway 400

A 55-year-old man was airlifted to hospital after a single motorcycle crash on Highway 400 in Tay Township on May 21.

Members of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP were dispatched to the crash, which happened in the southbound lane of Highway 400 near Fesserton Side Road, at 3:54 p.m. on Monday. Officers, along with members of the Tay Township Fire Services and Simcoe County Paramedic Services responded.

The lone driver was treated and then transported to a Toronto area hospital by Ornge air ambulance for further treatment of his injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
