Shared: Midland area OPP responded to few incidents, despite icy road conditions

Members of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded to nine motor vehicle incidents over the April 13 to 15 weekend despite the unseasonable weather and icy roads conditions.

The nine crashes OPP officers responded to mostly consisted of vehicles in the ditch or minor property damage type incidents.

Motorists were well informed by radio, television and social media broadcasts over the weekend so as to be able to plan ahead and limit their driving along with driving to the road conditions.
