Midland town council is set to see plans for three proposed developments come to the table in the near future.

The open parcel of land along William Street, 100 metres south of Galloway Boulevard and 500 metres north of Highway 12, could be the site of two five-storey residential apartment buildings.

A developer has submitted an application to construct 80 residential apartment units on the open 2.71 acres lot. The chunk of land was originally part of a larger townhouse development along with Midland Mews, but was eventually severed and remains undeveloped.

Plans call for two, 40-unit buildings and a total of 118 parking spaces.
