Shared: Midland man arrested for allegedly stabbing Toronto bus driver

A 22-year-old Midland man was arrested by the OPP on May 21 in connection with a Toronto stabbing.

Liam Mitchell McCallum is facing six charges, including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon after a Toronto bus driver was stabbed at about 3:40 a.m. on May 21.

He was scheduled to appear in court on May 22.

Boaters charged

Four Georgian Bay boaters were charged over the May long weekend for life-jacket violations.

Six charges were laid by Southern Georgian Bay OPP over the weekend, including one for liquor violations and another for boating safety equipment deficiencies.
