Shared: Midland Salvation Army’s Christmas fundraising to benefit close to 400 families
Close to 400 families are going to experience a wonderful Christmas thanks to the generosity of the community.
The Midland Salvation Army has rallied residents to donate toys, food and money to ensure less fortunate families in town can enjoy the holiday season.
“We are just the bridge connection the people who want to help, with the people who need the help,” said Kim Duquette, Salvation Army family services director.
A total of 375 families have registered with the Salvation Army to receive assistance this Christmas. Of those families, 125 were advertised in the Mirror and sponsored by members of the community.
