Former Midland Centennial Adam Dixon is in the midst of gearing up for his third Paralympic Winter Games.
Dixon led the Canadian sledge hockey team in scoring at the 2014 Paralympics in Sochi, notching four goals and three assists en route to a bronze medal.
While the roster has yet to be officially announced, Dixon is expected to be one of the leaders of the 2018 squad that will represent Canada in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
“It’s a four-year process and we are in the final months before we take off for Korea. It is exciting,” said Dixon. “We have some younger faces who weren’t around in Sochi. I think we have a good team.”
