Shared: Multi-disciplined photographer opens studio in Midland

Whether it’s a waterfall surrounded by lush greenery, a plump baby or an industrial robot, photography is always an adventure.

“I like the variety. I could be shooting a dog in the morning and a president of a company in the afternoon,” said Mike Guilbault, who has been a professional photographer for the past 30 years.

Guilbault opened a studio in Midland July 1. His connection to Midland includes studying with photographer Budd Watson, who is featured on a Midland mural.

Guilbault will be displaying his photographic art at his Tiny Township home gallery at the Bay Studio Tour Sept. 29 and 30.
