Shared: Noise complaint leads to OPP apprehending impaired snowmobiler

Members of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded to a noise complaint and ended up apprehending an allegedly impaired snowmobiler.

Officers were called to an Elizabeth Street residence at 1:15 a.m.on Feb. 9. A male was arrested at the scene and transported to detachment for further investigation.

Daniel Taylor, 57, of Brampton has been charged with care or control of a motor vehicle while impaired.

His snowmobile was towed from the scene and impounded for seven days and his driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days.

Taylor was released from custody with a future date at the Midland courthouse.
