Members of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP charged numerous drivers over the January 26-28 weekend.
On Jan. 26, a driver was stopped along Highway 12 in Tay Township for a traffic violation. David Leduc, 57, of Tay Township lost his driving privileges for three days and had his vehicle towed as a result of registering a blood-alcohol level over 50 mg on the approved screening device. He has been charged with careless driving, an unsafe lane change and driving a motor vehicle with improper validation.
On Jan. 27 a RIDE check stop at Highway 12 and Triple Bay Road resulted in Brad Fisher, 27, of Tay Township being arrested and charged for drinking and driving after he was found to have been diving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood. His vehicle was…
