Two Penetanguishene men have been charged in connection to an assault at a Burke Street residence on the afternoon of June 1.

Investigators from the OPP Central Region Crime Unit have arrested and charged 28-year-old Tyler Robert McCue with aggravated assault and four counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

As of June 8, he was still in police custody awaiting a bail hearing.

His brother, 28-year-old Tanner McCue, was also arrested by police and charged with aggravated assault and failure to comply with a probation order.

He was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Midland on June 28.
