The Southern Georgian Bay OPP have been dealing with a rash of vehicle, ATV and boat thefts since the beginning of July.

Between July 2 and August 8 officers have responded to 16 different complaints involving stolen vehicles, ATV’s and boats in Midland, Tiny Township, Tay Township and Georgian Bay Township.

Six vehicle thefts occurred in Midland over that time with vehicles being taken from residences on Bayshore Drive, Everton Drive, Galloway Boulevard, Johnson Street, Many Ave. and Montreal Street. Another four vehicles were stolen from residences on Champlain Road, Couchiching Crescent, Coutnac Crescent and Woodlands Ave. in the Township of Tiny.
