Connor Dagenais, 7, has asked council to change their bylaw to permit backyard chickens within the town.

A seven-year-old Penetanguishene boy has asked council to consider allowing backyard chickens within town limits.

Connor Dagenais approached council on Sept. 13 to ask if they would consider permitting the egg-producing birds in the municipality.
