Penetanguishene council has decided to hold off on debating the proposed amendments to the bylaw governing temporary structures, until after their summer break.
While some councillors were ready to offer their two cents on the matter at the June 27 meeting, others wanted it pushed.
“We have had a lot of participation of the last several months on some heavy planning items,” said Coun. Doug Rawson. “I’m sure people would love to be involved today, but it is graduation time, and the people who may want to be here can’t be here.”
Council passed a motion to debate the proposed changes at their next meeting, which is scheduled for Sept. 12.
