The popular red and white Serendipity Princess tour boat which plied the waters of Georgian Bay has been sold.
Midland Tours, which operated the craft out of Penetanguishene harbour, sold the boat to the Bus and Boat Company of Toronto.
While the ink on the deal hadn’t dried, she left Midland harbour Saturday to make her way through the Trent Severn Waterway. She is expected to arrive in Queen’s Quay by the weekend, where she will be immediately put back to work taking tourists to the Toronto island on Lake Ontario.
Mike Dubeau, owner of Midland Tours, said the Bus and Boat Company, which also offers double-decker bus tours, was looking at both the Serendipity and the Miss Midland to expand its fleet.
