Shared: Penetanguishene’s Waypoint Centre raises $70,000 at fundraising dinner

Penetanguishene’s Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care raised over $70,000 at its fifth annual fundraising dinner on March 2.

The dollars raised will help Waypoint purchase medical and patient recreation equipment, further the understanding of mental illness and addiction issues, fund research and support efforts to renovate and build more patient-centred, therapeutic environments across the hospital.

“I want to express my sincere appreciation to title sponsor TD Bank Group, our new platinum sponsor Honeywell, the many other sponsors, and all those involved in making our fifth annual fundraising dinner such a resounding success,” said John Barrett-Hamilton, chair of the Waypoint board of directors.
