Elizabeth Van Houtte believes the NDP has a platform that will benefit every Ontarian, including those who live in Simcoe North.
The longtime Simcoe County resident, social work consultant and sessional lecturer at Laurentian University is representing the New Democrat’s in the June provincial election — an election she strongly believes they have a good chance of winning.
“People are saying they are in a constant struggle. They want change,” said Van Houtte. “We have had 15 years of Liberals. Has your life gotten better?”
The NDP plan is centred around increasing funding for health care, improving access to prescription drugs and introducing a dental care program.
