Simcoe North provincial election candidates discussed health care, hydro costs, child care and more during an all candidates meeting on May 23.

Jill Dunlop (PC), Gerry Marshall (Liberal), Valerie Powell  (Green) and Elizabeth Van Houtte (NDP) presented their party platforms and gave one last pitch for votes.

The formal event, run by the Southern Georgian Bay Chamber of Commerce, had candidates respond to a variety of questions asked by a moderator.

Hydro One and the high cost of hydro prices across the province was one of the most divisive topics to come up at the meeting, with each candidate putting forth different views.
