Shared: Southern Georgian Bay OPP charge man with impaired boating

Southern Georgian Bay OPP have charged a 25-year-old man with impaired boating.

The OPP marine unit stopped and checked a power boat near Honey Harbour shortly before 10 p.m. on June 2. After speaking with the driver, officers entered into a drinking and operating investigation.

As a result, Charlie John Wingfelder of Buffalo, New York has been charged with operating a vessel with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. He was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Midland on June 21.
