Shared: Southern Georgian Bay OPP help arrest 32 people on outstanding warrants

Southern Georgian Bay OPP and other local law enforcement agencies picked up 32 people on outstanding warrants during the Week of June 4 to 8 as part of Operation Clean Sweep.

Area law enforcement agencies participated in an organized effort to round up a number of people facing charges who have been negligent in attending court dates and following their ordered conditions.

Participants in this law enforcement partnership included members of the community street crime units attached to Southern Georgian Bay, Bracebridge and Huntsville OPP detachments, the OPP Central Region canine unit, the OPP Central Region emergency response unit, the Christian Island detachment of the Anishinabek Police Service and Probation and Parole Services Midland office.
