The Southern Georgian OPP charged another three drivers with drinking and driving related offences over the Aug. 10 to 12 weekend.
Just before 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 12 the OPP Communications Centre received a 911 call reporting a possible impaired driver around Fourth Street in Midland. Officers on patrol located the suspicious vehicle and upon speaking with the driver entered into a drinking and driving investigation.
As a result, 20-year-old Jarrett Brown of Midland was charged with driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood.
His vehicle has been impounded for seven days and driver’s licence suspended for 90 days. Brown has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Midland at a future date.
