Shared: Suspects charged after Simcoe County break and enter spree

Two people are facing multiple charges in connection with a run of break and enter incidents throughout Simcoe County.

Huronia West OPP officers responded to an alarm at the Hillsdale Corner Store at about 4:50 a.m. Sept. 9. Upon arrival, police discovered the front door had been badly damaged. Suspects were unable to gain access and quickly fled. 

At about 5:05 a.m., Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded to a 911 call at the Waverley Esso gas station on Hwy. 93, north of Hillsdale. An unknown man was observed allegedly smashing the front glass with a large rock. The caller reported observing a man running from the scene and fleeing in a dark coloured minivan.
