Local police, paramedics, firefighters and Canadian Armed Forces personnel were called in to stop a man from allegedly driving erratically on Sturgeon Bay March 22.

Southern Georgian Bay OPP officers were dispatched to the Caswell’s Beach area in Tay Township at about 9:30 a.m. The officers were assisted by Simcoe County Paramedic and Tay Township Fire and Emergency services and a Canadian Forces search and rescue helicopter crew. Emergency responders observed a grey Jeep Liberty allegedly travelling at a high speed between Hog Bay, Caswell’s Beach and Waubaushene.
