TAY TOWNSHIP – Sainte-Marie among the Hurons is getting ready to welcome upwards of 2,000 visitors during its Thanksgiving Harvest Festival from Oct. 8-9.
The weekend will showcase close to 40 artisans presenting woodworking, pottery, fabric art, jewelry, stained glass and more.
“The Thanksgiving Harvest Festival at Sainte-Marie is a must-do on my yearly calendar,” Shirley Tebbutt, an exhibitor for two decades, stated in a press release. “The weekend is so lively with families really excited to take in all the festivities.”
The weekend will also include hands-on demonstrations and activities throughout the historic site, including pumpkin decorating, cornhusk doll making and a Thanksgiving craft.
