The shop will only be open Thursdays to Saturdays.

“We are not a factory,” Breen said. The artists need time to create and restock items, and they also do custom work outside the shop.

Promoting local art is central to Breen’s business philosophy.

“To support Canadian artists. That’s it 100 per cent. We represent each artisan and their brand.”

Breen started the business in 2012 “on my front lawn in a 10-by-12 shack selling my photography, art and butter tarts” from Jones’ Autumn Harvest Farm. It was her outlet while she worked at TD Canada Trust for 19 years.
