Shared: Three charged after investigation at Port McNicoll home

Three men have been charged after police were called to a Port McNicoll home to investigate a complaint about a suspicious person.

When OPP officers arrived, they located three men in a Jeep near the residence. An investigation resulted in several charges against the three.

Timothy Cole, 21, and Mitchell Dumais, 18, of Penetanguishene, and 28-year-old Mathew Philpott of Tay Township, have has been charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, trespassing at night, and possession of break-in instrument.

Cole was also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

The three were released from custody on a recognizance to appear in court in May.
