The Township of Tiny has continued to push forward on its promise to acquire more public beachfront.

In mid-December, council ratified an agreement of purchase and sale for several blocks of beachfront located on Tiny Beaches Road North for $375,000.

The township has also made an application to have the land at the water’s edge of Georgian Bay from Concession Road 11 West to Sherwood Gate registered under the Land Titles Act.

The intention of the transaction is to increase municipally-owned beachfront property within the township, which is consistent with the strategic plan.
