Residents in Tiny Township will see a 1.77 per cent increase on the municipal portion of their 2018 taxes as a result of the township budget.

This increase means that the owner of a residential property with an assessed value of $300,000 will pay an additional $40.19 in municipal taxes in 2018.

“While keeping the property tax increase at the lowest level possible was a priority, appropriate service levels and strategic initiatives were identified and funded to ensure long-term financial sustainability,” said Mayor George Cornell.
