A 29-year-old Tiny Township woman was seriously injured during a motorcycle crash in Barrie July 16.

The woman was driving north on Fairview Road between Essa Road and Little Avenue at about 9 a.m. on Monday when she lost control on a bend and fell from her bike, Barrie police say.

The woman rolled into traffic, but a quick-thinking truck driver maneuvered around her. The woman’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

A driver in an oncoming car who struck the motorcycle was not physically injured.
