Two people are in serious condition after a two-vehicle collision in Tay Township on May 13.

Southern Georgian Bay OPP, Simcoe County Paramedics and the Oro-Medonte Fire Services were dispatched to a crash around 5:40 p.m. on Sunday evening at the intersection of Old Fort and Vasey roads.

Two occupants of the vehicle travelling on Old Fort Road were extricated from the wreckage, treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to Georgian Bay General Hospital. They were then airlifted by Ornge air ambulance to Toronto area hospitals.

An OPP investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Central Region technical collision investigation unit.
