For its 19th season, Canadian Pacific Railway’s Holiday Train will be lighting up tracks across Ontario.
Decked out in lights and packed with holiday entertainment, the Holiday Train has raised more than $13 million and gathered over 4 million pounds of food, since its inaugural year in 1999.
Here’s how it works: The CP Holiday Train stops in 171 communities across Canada and the U.S. and residents are invited to hop on board. The event is free, but patrons are asked to donate any non-perishable food items or monetary donations to help those in need within their communities.
