The Veterans Always Appreciate Our Support

Bill Smith and Frank Graham, shown at the 2009 Candlelight Service, and all the veterans worked very hard over the years, as long as they could, to keep the memories of their comrades alive in our collective minds by speaking with classes around Remembrance Day, organizing the two annual cemetery Drumhead Services, and attending the annual Candlelight and Remembrance Day services.

In addition to our elderly WW 2 veterans, we have Korean War veterans and veterans who have fought overseas in the last few decades. Our police, fire fighters, and paramedics also protect us here at home every day.

We show them our support and promise “to keep the faith” by attending these ceremonies and wearing our poppies!
